It's been quite a while since I've been adventurous and tried a new recipe.  It's also been a long time since I've tried a new breakfast recipe.  I mean, between eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, and fruit, what's really left to do?  Well, today I ventured out to try a new recipe for breakfast.  That is, it's nothing Earth shaking, but it's new to me.  As you can see, I made doughnuts.  This recipe is quite small, because I only had one egg.  For just the two of us, though, it made plenty for us both with a few left over.  Be careful when dropping the dough into the oil.  It expands quite a lot, so don't make your doughnuts too big
