Strawberry pizza is such a guilty pleasure, but ever so tasty! Make sure you have someone to share it with, or you can easily eat too much of it. While this does require a bit of baking, it spends so little time in the oven that it's still a good choice for dessert when the weather is hot.
I know that I've already said that hubby likes spicy foods. He also loves pizza. I'm a big fan of pizza myself, but in the last couple years I've developed a sensitivity to tomatoes. Luckily, one of our favorite pizzas does not have tomato sauce on it at all. This chicken wing pizza is flavorful and tasty, and a break from pepperoni. I haven't settled on a favorite crust just yet, but I have a recipe I plan to try soon. Hopefully that dough will combine with this recipe to make this pizza a masterpiece! I like to watch "Warehouse 13," and in the pilot episode one of the main characters offers the others homemade oatmeal scotchies to welcome them to the Warehouse. Every time I see that scene, I wonder "Why don't we have oatmeal scotchies all the time?" They don't get nearly as much press time as chocolate chip cookies, but they're just as easy. In fact, there's a rumor out there that some people actually like them more than chocolate chip! This recipe was on allrecipes.com My husband loves spicy foods. He's always asking for chicken wing pizza, fajitas, and chili. Now that the temperature is rising, though, I like to keep the heat out of the kitchen as much as possible. On top of that, I get lots of requests for salads whenever weigh-ins are coming up. So this salad is what usually gets the job done! The meat is grilled outside (and not in my kitchen), there's lots of spicy flavor, and it's much less greasy than pizza. |
